Fostering Sacred Partnerships
Congregational leadership is different than in any other type of non-profit - there is a sacred community that is at the heart of everything. No one individual should be responsible for the community, it should be a joint effort built within sacred partnerships among all leaders - professional and lay. As Moses’s father in law, Jethro, reminds him, “You will surely wear yourself out, and these people as well. For the task is too heavy for you, you cannot do it alone.” Exodus 18:18
